To reiterate EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. has developed a methodology in which we un-bundle the board search process by creating custom strategies that successfully generate interviews. We are neither a contingency nor a retained search firm and we never charge by board appointment. Any information that you send to us will remain in the strictest of confidence and will never be disseminated to third parties, except company contacts, whom you have approved, for the purposes of attaining a paid board seat.
EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will take the following steps to assist you with your board search:
(1) The Team Leader and Strategist will discuss your board objective, geographical preferences and salary requirements. The Strategist will then offer strategic advice on the types of companies to which you could target your search in order to generate the most interest.
(2) EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will review your resume, cover letter, memos and other written communications that you are using, and then design the most compelling and effective presentation possible. The cover note and resume, that EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will design, will tailor your professional skills to your target list of companies, illustrate your work and/or board governance experience and accomplishments and communicate how your skills will benefit the target company’s business and/or board needs.
(3) EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will generate a list of at least one hundred (100) appropriate target companies, the parameters of which will be defined in your strategy session. You will be asked to review and approve the target list before we begin researching decision makers and contact information.
(4) The Researcher, assigned to your search, will call each target company and ascertain the decision maker, their name, title, address, company phone number and email address or fax number will be provided, as well as additional information that may be gathered during the calls.
EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will print and mail your resumes and cover notes (100 watermarked paper copies with matching envelopes) and provide you with electronic versions along with a target company contact list, as well as instructions on how to utilize this research to produce appointments and prepare for interviews.
EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will make all follow-up calls, to decision makers, on your behalf and provide you with personal coaching and research during the interview process.
If you do not meet your board seat objective, within the first list of targets/contacts, EXECUTIVE-ADVISORY INC. will continue to generate more contacts for you until you do so. Target/contact generation is discontinued only when you accept a board seat appointment, decide to discontinue using the program or fail to communicate with us for a period of sixty days or more.
The cost of the program is $3,295, payable at the beginning of the engagement. Payment is non- refundable and will constitute your understanding and agreement of these services and terms. This agreement is made in the City of Chicago, in the State of Illinois, and shall be governed by the laws of that State.
